Medical records, BPJS claims, and pharmacy in one flow.

How integration unifies SIMRS, BPJS VClaim, the pharmacy, and the cashier, so staff enter patient data once and claims come together faster and more cleanly.

The situation

A clinic uses a medical records system (SIMRS) for registration and consultations, a separate application for BPJS VClaim claims, a spreadsheet for pharmacy stock, and a manual cashier for patient payments. Staff must enter patient data and prescriptions repeatedly across each system.

As a result, queues lengthen at registration, BPJS claims are often rejected because data does not match, and pharmacy stock runs out without early warning.

How the integration works

We connect SIMRS, BPJS VClaim, the pharmacy system, and the cashier through APIs, with medical records as the single source of truth.

  • Register once

Patient data is entered once in SIMRS, then automatically sent to VClaim to check BPJS member eligibility, without re-entry.

  • Prescriptions to pharmacy

The doctor's prescription flows directly into the pharmacy system, stock decreases automatically, and running-low items trigger an early warning.

  • Automated claims

Once care is complete, visit and diagnosis data is sent to VClaim and INA-CBG automatically, complete with supporting documents.

  • Billing and receipts

The patient's bill outside BPJS coverage is calculated automatically at the cashier, and the receipt is issued alongside the recorded claim status.

Systems we connect

A typical set of systems we connect.

  • SIMRS / medical records

The source of truth for patient and care data.

  • BPJS VClaim & e-Claim

    Eligibility, claims, and SEP status.

  • Pharmacy system

Stock, prescriptions, and drug stock alerts.

  • Cashier & payments

    Patient billing and receipts.

What changes

  • Patients are registered once, not repeatedly in each system.
  • Fewer BPJS claims are rejected because data stays consistent.
  • Pharmacy stock no longer runs out without early warning.
  • Registration queues move faster.
